Sarah Young

Sarah Young is Managing Partner of Ridley and Hall. She specialises in Personal injury Law and Contentious Probate. Sarah has an LLM in Sarah Young, shortlisted for Legal Business Women of the Year Personal Injury Law  She has a record of bringing the most complex cases to a successful conclusion. Sarah has worked closely with the Nerve Centre in Huddersfield, a charity which supports people living with a neurological condition.

In addition to her skill in personal injury work, she is one of a limited number of practitioners in West Yorkshire who specialises in contentious probate law. She is a member of ACTAPS which is the Association of Contentious Trust And Probate Specialists and is a Registered Contentious Trust and Probate specialist.

Sarah is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Sarah won the association of Women Solicitors (AWS) Award for Managing a Small Practice in September 2009. The AWS has over 18000 members. She was then one of 5 women solicitors shortlisted in the AWS Legal Business Woman of the Year category at the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards.

When she’s not at work, Sarah does a bit of kickboxing and looks after her three children, both of which would keep her fitter if she didn’t eat so much chocolate. Sarah is committed to the firm’s ethos of making a difference to the community.
