Our offices are open between 8.45am and 5.15pm.
For clients unable to travel to our offices, we may be able to offer a home appointment.
Free initial interviews
Private clients may qualify for a free initial interview. Please ask when the appointment is made. Please note that we are required to establish proof of our clients’ identity, which in practice means that you need to bring to your appointment a ‘photo-card’ (typically a driving licence or passport) and a recent utility bill.
Anyone qualifying for free legal help and advice will also need to bring proof of income to their first interview. This is a requirement of the Legal Services Commission. This usually means confirmation of state benefits received in the form of Income Support, Job-seekers’ Allowance, or Tax Credit incorporated into a wage slip.
We can calculate for you, in advance how much (if anything) you would have to pay towards public funding of your claim.
All clients are informed in writing of the anticipated costs relating to their case right at the start. We send out regular updates of ongoing costs.
Our commitment
We aim to provide a high standard of legal advice across the entire range of work we undertake. We conclude each case with a request that feedback be provided via a questionnaire, in order that we can monitor and improve our service. |
